The overall development will encompass a full range of land uses  such as retail malls, office parks, residential nodes, private schools with associated sporting facilities, hotels, a hospital complex, motor city, a light industrial precinct and a lifestyle centre. The estimated project value is R12 billion over 15 years with the first phase being the construction of a 80000 sqm regional mall, to be known as Bay West Mall.
